The Jeff Hamilton Legacy Fund was established by the Hamilton family in partnership with the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation to honor the spirit of commitment, imagination, and fearlessness with which Jeff lived his life. Born from Jeff’s own vision and created in his memory following his passing from pancreatic cancer in 2023, the Fund celebrates and supports individuals in the Truckee–Tahoe region who embody these qualities.

Sierra Community House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to connecting and empowering individuals and families across the North Tahoe and Truckee region. Formed in 2019 through the collaboration of four longstanding community service organizations — Family Resource Center of Truckee, North Tahoe Family Resource Center, Tahoe SAFE Alliance, and Project MANA — Sierra Community House works as a unified hub to strengthen community resilience and support those in need.

The Shane McConkey Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to honoring the adventurous spirit, generosity, and positive influence of legendary skier and explorer Shane McConkey. Founded by his wife, Sherry McConkey, the Foundation celebrates Shane’s philosophy of “One life, live it. One world, protect it.” by supporting causes that protect children, wildlife, the environment, and community wellbeing.

The Foundation fuels inspiration and action through several signature programs: the Shane McConkey EcoChallenge, a nationwide student competition that encourages youth to develop and implement meaningful environmental projects; Don’t Drop The Top, which turns unrecyclable plastic caps into community benches; and Random Awesome Deeds (R.A.D.), providing support for causes close to Shane’s heart.

Based in Truckee, California, the Send It Foundation is dedicated to inspiring positivity, courage, and gratitude in young adult cancer fighters and survivors by providing life-changing outdoor adventures and community. Founded in memory of outdoor enthusiast Jamie Schou, who faced his own cancer journey with boldness and joy, the Foundation carries forward his ethos of living life to the fullest through shared experiences in nature.

The South Lake Tahoe Family Resource Center (FRC) is a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families and nurturing resilience across the South Lake Tahoe community. Established in the early 1990s, the FRC’s mission is to enable individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency and economic stability, develop resilience in both parents and children, and help families become contributing members of the community — regardless of age, ethnicity, or economic status.

The FRC offers a wide range of supportive programs and services, with a special focus on the needs of low-income and Latino community members. Services include bilingual counseling and advocacy, basic needs support such as weekly food distribution, parent support and education, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, community enrichment activities, and more.
